Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn released fish into the Chao Phraya River on Monday morning to make merit on her 62nd birthday.
The Fisheries Department prepared 590,000 fish of 10 species for the Princess to release from Wasukree Pier.
They included giant Mekong catfish, clown knifefish, silver barbs, red-tail fish and a pair of freshwater stingrays.
